Imran gets 10 elite force mobiles and 80 police after security threats to him and 21 other leaders.

 

Lahore (Dunya News): As security threats grow with coming of election day, Imran Khan will now move with 10 mobiles of elite police force and 80 elite group personnel.


According to sources of security agencies 22 politicians, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief  Imran Khan, are facing security threats in Punjab.


The security of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Chairman’s sisters have also been beefed up after the instructions of high-ups of the law enforcement agencies.


Senior Superintendent of Police Salman Ali Khan has been assigned task of protection of PTI leader, security officials revealed.


Khan who has been moving across the country especially in the largest province, Punjab, will have the same level of security till elections conclude.


Elections will be holding on May 11 in the country facing a quagmire of problems including a marred economy, prolonged power outages and rising unemployment.
